When you are starting a business, there is so much stuff you don’t even know that you don’t know! You know that you need help, but hiring a business coach is always an expensive option for a new business where every cent counts. On July 2013, when David and I started Video SEO Pro, we where in that exact situation, with one big difference: SCORE Westchester.

SCORE is a nonprofit organization that helps entrepreneurs and small businesses start, grow and ultimately, succeed. And they do it… for FREE! All their mentors are experienced business people with diverse backgrounds, and they are all volunteers. David had been working with them already for a couple of years with his previous business, so when we started, one of the first things he suggested we should do is to get some advice from his mentors at SCORE. That’s how I met Marty and Bill, and they have been helping us since then. Not only helping, they are our biggest cheerleaders! What many people don’t know is that SCORE has been out there doing this for more than 50 years. For ourselves I can say that we wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for their help and advice.
